Seed Cleaning & Packing Pizza Party

The Coastal Prairie Conservancy & the Houston-Native Prairies Association of Texas are hosting their annual Seed Cleaning & Packing Pizza Party at the January 25, 2023 HNPAT monthly meeting. Learn how to clean wild collected prairie plant seeds for growing out. Come eat (Pizza is back this year!), make new friends and reconnect with old ones, support CPC & HNPAT, and clean & pack seeds! Free. All welcome. Registration required.

6:30 PM PIZZA
6:50 – 7:10 PM SHORT INTRODUCTION
7:10 – 8:30 PM SEED CLEANING AND PACKING
8:30 – 8:45 PM CLEAN UP
 
Cost: Free (Pizza provided by CPC)

The Native Prairies Association of Texas (NPAT) is a non-profit land trust dedicated to the conservation, restoration, and appreciation of native prairies, savannas, and other grasslands in Texas. In the Houston area, HNPAT is responsible for the management, conservation and educational uses of the Lawther – Deer Park Prairie Preserve in Deer Park, Texas.  All are invited to join our activities, including monthly programs on the 4th Wednesday evening of every month.
